James J. Wolf Care for Wildlife Education Scholarship

The James J. Wolf CARE for Wildlife Education Scholarship is given to enhance the education of wildlife rehabilitators. One scholarship is awarded to help defray expenses of attending the NWRA Symposium. This scholarship is given through NWRA by Linda Wolf, DVM in memory of her father James J. Wolf.
Completely fill out the application form (in English please) and include two signed letters of recommendation. If sending signed recommendation letters separately, please include the name of the scholarship applicant with each letter. Preference is given to wildlife rehabilitators who have not had significant exposure to major wildlife rehabilitation conferences.
The application deadline is October 1 and the recipient is notified by January 1. The award is presented at the Symposium. A symposium attendance scholarship recipient is expected to attend at least three (3) full days of the symposium. NWRA reserves the right to withhold scholarship fund disbursement if attendance requirement is not fulfilled.
Scholarship recipients are asked to write a paragraph or two for the NWRA newsletter summarizing their symposium experiences due to receiving the scholarship.
