NWRA Awards
Application Deadline: October 1 of each year
NWRA invites nominations for three prestigious awards to recognize and honor outstanding colleagues in the field of wildlife rehabilitation, medicine, and/or education.
***APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED IN AUGUST TO OCTOBER 1ST OF EACH YEAR ~ TO BE AWARDED JANUARY THE NEXT YEAR.***
Lifetime Achievement Award
Given to an individual whose primary identification is with wildlife rehabilitation and who has contributed to the field in a major way for many years.

Significant Achievement Award
Given to an individual who has made a major contribution to the field of wildlife rehabilitation within the last two years. Examples of such contributions would be presenting a research finding, organizing a program, developing a new technique, and providing unusual assistance.

Marlys J. Bulander Working Together for Wildlife Award
Given to an individual or group that has brought together individuals, organizations, rehabilitation facilities, agencies, industries, businesses, and/or academia in a cooperative effort to make a positive difference for wildlife.

Board of Directors Award
The NWRA Board of Directors Award is given in appreciation to a person who has made a valuable and outstanding contribution to the organization. It is awarded by a vote of the NWRA Board of Directors specifically for a contribution to NWRA as an organization, not a contribution to the field of wildlife rehabilitation as are the Lifetime and Significant Achievement Awards.
