NWRA invites nominations for three prestigious awards to recognize and honor outstanding colleagues in the field of wildlife rehabilitation, medicine, and/or education.

Applications are accepted from August to October 1 of each year ~ to be awarded January of the following year. 

Lifetime Achievement Award

Given to an individual whose primary identification is with wildlife rehabilitation and who has contributed to the field in a major way for many years.  To be directed to the Lifetime Achievement Award page for information on how to apply, click here

Significant Achievement Award

Given to an individual who has made a major contribution to the field of wildlife rehabilitation within the last two years. Examples of such contributions would be presenting a research finding, organizing a program, developing a new technique, and providing unusual assistance.  To be directed to the Significant Achievement Award page for information on how to apply, click here

Marlys J. Bulander Working Together for Wildlife Award

Given to one individual or one group that has brought together individuals, organizations, rehabilitation facilities, agencies, industries, businesses, and/or academia in a cooperative effort to make a positive difference for wildlife. Board of Directors Award

The NWRA Board of Directors Award is given in appreciation to a person who has made a valuable and outstanding contribution to the organization.  It is awarded by a nomination and vote of the NWRA Board of Directors specifically for a contribution to NWRA as an organization, not a contribution to the field of wildlife rehabilitation as are the Lifetime and Significant Achievement Awards.
